In The News
If you’ve been following ILANP activities this year, you know that 2017 is going to be a critical year for the naturopathic profession in Illinois. In the past few years, we have been making great progress towards the regulation of naturopathic medicine in Illinois. More legislators than ever know about naturopathic medicine, why it should be regulated here, and are willing to support us in our licensure effort. We have also had significant support from the naturopathic profession, from students, doctors, and patients, and we hosted a successful lobby day in Springfield.
This fall, we are introducing our most ambitious fundraising effort to date, including a 5K race, a conference reception with silent auction, our 4th annual conference, and a donation drive. The ILANP board & officers are doing everything we can to ensure our success in legislation next session, but we can’t do it alone; so we are asking you for support. YOU can help make safe, effective, legal naturopathic care accessible to every resident of Illinois.
Can you help out in one of the following ways?
- September 8-October 8 is our donation drive. Buy a raffle ticket during this time for a 50-50 raffle. Entries are $1 each or 6 for $5. The winner will be drawn during Zen and Now, our conference reception/fundraiser, the evening of October 8th. If you sign up for a monthly or quarterly recurrent donation, you'll get 5 entries!
- Sign up to run or walk our 5K, A Healthy Step, on October 2nd. Cost is only $35 to participate before 9/19. Virtual participants are welcome. If you don’t want to walk or run yourself, you can sponsor one of our participants or groups.
- Volunteer at our 5K race
- For naturopathic students: Volunteer during our annual conference
